On Thursday, October 15th, our staff of creative non-bowlers gathered at Midtown Bowl and participated in the 8th Annual Bowling for Boobs event sponsored by Illuminations, a local lighting representative group. The event benefits the Susan G. Komen organization of Greater Atlanta. Here is a link to the event website: http://www.illumco.com/a-huge-thanks-for-bfb-2015/
Although we know we don’t bowl well, we strive every year to win the “Breast Dressed” award. This year’s “uniform” consisted of a pink camouflage hat & pants and a black t- shirt with our team name and the motto: “Stop the War in My Rack”. We had three teams participate in the event and we had a great time. We received “Honorable Mention” in the costume contest and didn’t “place” in the bowling competition. We did, however, have a great time and helped raise over $34,000.00 for Breast Cancer research. And that’s really all that matters…that and winning “Breast Dressed” next year…
