The Shoebox Project 2015

The staff of LeVino Jones Medical Interiors, Inc. enjoys making a difference in Atlanta and the surrounding communities, whether it be with our design talent or through philanthropic opportunities.  Last spring, we participated in a Mother’s Day event sponsored by the Greater Atlanta United Way called The Shoebox Project. This annual event has been held for over 10 years.  In 2015, we were part of a team that helped to contribute over 50,000 shoeboxes to homeless women around Atlanta. We gathered personal items such as travel size lotions, shower gels, deodorants, toothpastes and toothbrushes, lip balms, etc., then packed them in shoeboxes along with a special and heartwarming Mother’s Day note. Once packed, we decorated the boxes with bright orange flowers and ribbon. A drop-off site was located close to a staff member’s home, making participation easy and convenient.
