The client’s interest to create a new 5,323 square foot Center of Excellence for treating cancers of the head and neck in a large teaching hospital. We were directed to design a contemporary, private, clean, and extraordinary medical unit.
During the design process, LeVino Jones staff was allowed to be present during a patient visit in order to get a better understanding of the examination & scoping process. As a result, custom millwork to house equipment and supplies was designed and presented in a full-scale mock-up that was fastened to a wall for physician feedback. The final product was a result of the initial visit, the mock-up review, and comments back on the mock up.
